This was made out of a really thick polyester.
The lace that comes with it is pretty outdated and unattractive. I removed the lace, and replaced it with beading along the neckline and waistline. (removing the lace left several small holes, you need to have something to replace it if you plan to remove it)
My average size daughter fit in the dress just fine, but the bonnet that comes with it seemed to be made for a 2 year old! (She was wearing the 0-6 month size).
The elastic on the sleeves looks a little bit cheap.
The Pros:
The price is amazing.
I love the cut of the dress, and how it sort of reminded me of a dessert! (She looked like a princess from candy land! LOL)
She looked really cute in it, and after the alterations I made, I thought it was fantastic. (I even made a tiny bracelet for her to wear with matching beads)
All in all, I'm glad I bought this dress. I had plenty of time to work on it before her blessing, and everybody thought she looked very cute in it.
A note: She wore this to the party afterward, and was passed around for several hours. The dress did rip a little "seam" where the bunches are attached. (You can kind of tell in the pictures that the hem is wonky). But, I think it held up pretty well under the circumstances.

Bearington Baby Large Dottie Snuggle Blanket Blue Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 2 yr old that is so attached to her silky blankets and wanted to find one for my son who is 6 months. It's so hard to find a silky blanket for a boy. He loves this blanket. I wish the blanket was a little more blue then blue green. It's not the same color as the picture and I wish it was a little bigger, but overall it is a very nice blanket.

Sckoon Organic Cotton Booties Rose/Tan - One Size Review

(More customer reviews)I love these little booties. They were super easy to put on and they actually stayed on my baby's feet. He was a big guy and a lot of baby things didn't fit him or didn't fit him for long but these fit for a long time. I loved booties and would suggest people get a couple of pairs rather then fussing with socks that your washing machine is just going to eat anyway. Plus baby socks don't stay on. These little booties do. They even stayed on while he was sleeping. I put them on my registry again so I would have a second pair while I was washing the first pair.

Scene Weaver Pickles Whisper Soft Baby Bib, 11X13" Review

(More customer reviews)Maybe I didn't read the description well enough, but I was suprised and dismayed to discover you only get ONE bib for the price! However, having said that, I L-O-V-E this bib!! It is so soft and washes up really well. Even the sweet potatoes come out!! It is also a good size for an infant up to a toddler. (It is probaby too big for a newborn.) The only downside for me was the velcro. I find that these chafe a baby's neck. I really wish it had a snap.
Although I think the price is too high for just one bib I have been able to justify buying another by telling myself that I pay more than that for a new outfit and he outgrows those in just a couple of months!!! These bibs will last for YEARS! So, I recomend this product enough to go and get another one for myself!!! :-)

It is very thoughtfully made, with the seams on the outside and the cotton is smooth and soft. The tie closures made it easy to dress her without moving her head/neck too much and on top of all that, it was adorable. It's now stashed in her baby box as her "first outfit".

(More customer reviews)these were the best gift a new mom could get! warm, soft and easy to get on and off infant. baby looks elegant and angelic (well, also like a jedi, but that's another story). one drawback: leg opening a bit small for chuncky legs! be careful when treating stains. we used 7th gen detergent and even that seemed to bleach out the original creamy color of the kimonos.
