(More customer reviews)If it is made from sugar maple, the cut is so thin, it doesn't matter how strong the wood is known to be... This thing will snap like a twig (mostly because it's about as thin as a twig). It is a mere 1/8" thick and 6'6" long. Not exactly the dimensions of a strong, sturdy "heirloom quality" growth chart. Save yourself the money and the disappointment... Buy a 2x4.
